Mining Projects

Mining projects have developed into an important part of SamiRock’s strategic growth plans. We have successfully completed a contract with Daynatec Drilling Inc., to explore phosphate at Wadi Um Al Waal in the northern region of Saudi Arabia, and we continue to develop our mining operations in the Kingdom and abroad.

Geological Studies and Mining working Hand-in-Hand

Our Geological Studies Department can conduct studies to explore how different types of rocks can be used for other purposes. For instance:

§  For the construction of buildings, roads and asphalt slurries;

§  For the manufacturing of marbles, decorative and construction stones;

§  For using naturally colored stones in decorative projects, gardens and aquariums;

§  For detecting industrial raw materials such as Nepheline Syenite, which are used in the production of ceramics;

§  For the extraction of petroleum.
