Surveying Services

Part of SamiRock’s Contracting Division, our Surveying Services form the backbone of Contracting and are always the first step engaged before any Contracting job can begin.

Our Surveying Team and how it supports Contracting

The department is run by a team of highly qualified engineers and surveyors with extensive field work experience. They implement a series of well-planned steps, beginning with an examination of the project, followed by accurate surveying with advanced equipment, such as “Total Station” and “GPS” devices.

Readings from this equipment then enable the office team to accurately map the contours of the project with specialized surveying software, and produce the necessary maps for rock-cutting projects and for forming required terraces at certain slopes.
