Since the establishing of Sami Rock Company, the earth moving department was and is still the backbone of the company. It is also considered as the major pillar and foundation on which the company stands to execute its projects whether related to the earth-moving, mineral or semi-mineral projects.

The major objective of this department is to execute earth moving projects in an upmost accuracy and professional manner, in compliance with scientific and international standards, taking into consideration the timetable of the project and the owner’s priorities.

To achieve   this objective, we recruited a number of qualified engineers, geologists and technicians and provided them with advanced and modern equipment, to enable them to perform their works in excellence. Due to the great demands for the services of the company, we were obliged to concentrate on executing big projects while only providing consultancy services to small scale contractors to give a chance for the growth of the earth moving industry.

Recently, we have executed many big projects in the central area of Makkah Almukarramah, specifically the area surrounding Makkah Holy Mosque and many other projects outside the holy shrines.

By the grace of Allah (God), as well as the track record of Sami Rock, the project of rock cutting at Jabal Omar Development was assigned to Sami Rock. This project is considered as one of the most important and sensitive projects because of its closeness to the Holy Mosque by about 200 meters. Up to now, we have executed 95% of the works assigned to the full satisfaction of our clients. This made us the first choice in executing sensitive projects in the region.
